Rebecca Vito

Rebecca didn’t get introduced to the joy of fishing until her late 20s's but made up for lost time by hitting the creek every day of trout season to chase brook trout. Now, as an avid multi-species angler, her life has been shaped by the passion for fishing. After returning to school, she now works as an Aquatic Ecologist and loves to share the wonderful world of fish with others.

Rebecca participates in several fishing derbies each year and writes Argosgirl Outdoors, a blog about her time on the water. She regularly volunteers with Trout Unlimited Canada, Credit Valley Conservation, and other conservation organizations, and has been lucky enough to introduce several children to the sport of fishing at these events. While she loves to fish for anything that swims, her biggest thrills come from chasing crappie and brook trout.
