Leslie-Anne Dungog

A dormant passion awoke when she hooked her first sunfish with her four year old son last year. To further feed the passion, Leslie continued to learn by surfing the web, exploring social media, watching YouTube videos, and reading fishing magazines/books. Last spring, she attended Fishing 101 for Women seminars.

What excites her about the sport is that it can be as simple or as complex as the angler wants it to be. There is always something to learn and, most importantly, it’s an interest she can always share with her son.

Leslie is also very passionate about giving back to our natural resources and integrates it into her learning curve. She actively volunteers for Credit Valley Conservation, Trout Unlimited Canada and the Ontario Federation of Anglers & Hunters. Living in southern Ontario, she eagerly explores different bodies of water and different species of fish while learning something new every step of the way.
